About Our Golf and Country Clubs
Please take a moment to read about some of the finest golf communities in North
Palm Beach County and adjacent Martin County. You will also find a link to
view properties available for sale in each community. But looking beyond the
beautiful golf courses and large selection of luxury homes there are many other
benefits of the Florida life style on the “Treasure Coast.”
Jupiter is a small beach town where the casual pace of “old Florida” meets
the sophistication of Palm Beach. Jupiter Island is the crown jewel of the Treasure
Coast and the town takes pride in its natural setting and unique history. The
redbrick Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, built in 1860, is the oldest structure in
Palm Beach County. But far older is the tropical Florida where you can enjoy
a canoe or kayak tour along the Loxahatchee River that is populated with all
kinds of wildlife.
The Palm Beaches are home to a performing arts scene focused around
the Kravis Center; and to more than 40 museums, including Whitehall,
railroad magnate Henry Flagler’s Gilded Age Estate; the Norton
Museum of Art; and the Morikame Museum and Japanese Gardens. And last
but not least there is Worth Avenue, home of fine boutiques, galleries
and stores including Cartier, Chanel, Gucci and Tiffany.
Abacoa Golf Club
The 18-hole championship golf course, designed by renowned golf course architect Joe Lee, opened in October of 1999. Lush, rolling fairways weave throughout undulated landscape, which is surrounded by serene lakes and native vegetation. It is one of the area's most challenging public courses, as well as a great value.
A design characteristic setting Abacoa Golf Club apart from so many other South Florida golf courses is its flowing elevation changes. Some elevation features may vary from 30 to 40 ft., which offer scenic views of Abacoa's Florida Atlantic University and Scripps Biological Research Facility, while creating exciting golf shots.
In typical Joe Lee style, the course's lakes and bunkers meet its sloping fairways with little obstruction, offering a course that is both challenging but fair to golfers of all playing abilities. Abacoa features Tif Eagle grass greens producing the highest quality putting surfaces in the south, year round.

Jonathan's Landing is a gated community with 1,237 residences, which include single family homes, townhomes and condos from the mid $300s to over $3 million highlighted by Intracoastal Waterway estates.
The first course to open at Jonathan's Landing is sometimes called the "In Town" course by designer Tom Fazio. This course is located amongst homes, lakes and waterways. It is probably the only course in the country with a ferryboat. The ferryboat accommodates two golf carts and is used to cross a salt water boating channel leading to the Intracoastal Waterway. The "In Town" course is the most used at Jonathan's Landing and may be the most difficult with its small, fast greens.
Just a few minutes away at Jonathan's Landing Old Trail, is a second course by Tom Fazio and another course by Arthur Hills.
Tom Fazio's course has been described as spectacular. Each fairway meanders around shimmering lakes, serene wetlands and towering pines. Dramatic contouring adds to the incredible variety of play that is a Fazio tradition. And just one solitary road (Clubhouse Drive) separates the front nine from the back. So, only nature's pristine beauty might distract you from your game.
The Arthur Hills' course is the perfect balance with the Fazio courses. Hills designed a course truly worthy of such a magnificent setting, with even the short holes providing a stimulating challenge. The natural beauty of the cypress hammocks and towering stands of pine remain unblemished. What's more, neither roads nor residential development are within the course, a feature offered by few, if any, South Florida courses.

The continuing objective is to complement the genius reflected in our course designs with impeccably maintained golf facilities that present a lifetime of challenges to the membership whatever their skill levels.
The uniqueness and success of Jupiter Hills to its golf serious members is the limited membership which leads to uncluttered play, easy access to the courses, no starting times and a golf agenda that minimizes infringement on member access to the courses.
Because the courses are superbly situated on the dunes and rolling hills of Florida's coastal zone, Jupiter Hills' two creations resemble the finest courses of the Carolina foothills, with one unique advantage - they enjoy the benevolence of a year-round subtropical climate.

golf course architects, Joe Lee. The 18-hole championship layout offers
five tees ranging from 5,434 yards to 6,764 yards. Joe Lee expressed
the following vision about the course:
"My concept was to make the Turtle Creek course enjoyable for golfers
of all handicaps. It is a marvelous experience for the serious shot maker
and equally challenging and fair for the average player. Its traditional
design includes treel lined fairways, subtle undulating greens, and beautiful
greenside bunkers. I wanted the course to be fun and a pleasure no matter
how many times you played it."
The greens at Turtle Creek were renovated and re-grassed with Tif-Eagle

Seashore Paspalum in 2003.
